Kopaonik, once called the Silver Mountain because of its silver mines, is one of the most beautiful mountains located in the central part of Serbia, and a national park famous for its extraordinary natural beauty. Although Kopaonik has about 200 sunny days throughout the year, it snows there from November until May, 159 days a year on average.
The Kopaonik Ski Center as the largest winter resort in Serbia attracts all categories of skiers. It has 24 ski lifts, 70 km of ski slopes for Alpine and Nordic skiing, and a Snow Park for extreme skiers and snowboarders. Beginners can sign up for a course in skiing or snowboarding. The slopes are mostly easy to ski on (around 54 % with total of 30 km), and there is also a possibility of night skiing. Over 70 % of the ski slopes are covered by an artificial snow system. After skiing, visitors can relax in spa and wellness centres, or go to cafés and night clubs.
Exclusive accommodation rates have been arranged for participants of the CCHE conference.
